Bear Sculptures
A family of black bears …. made with black stoneware and fired in a soda kiln, giving a smooth, semi-gloss surface. Papa Bear has a copper red kiss from the kiln on the left side of his face. I had a memorable encounter with a very large bear and these figures come from that memory. Mama and Papa bears approximately : 4”h x 7 1/2” l x 3 1/2” w; Baby bear 3x5x2 1/2.
