"Basalt" Kenzan Vase, Soda Fired
Inspired by a formation of hexagonal basalt crystals I saw in Chile, worn smooth over millennia by a mountain stream. Dark stoneware, soda fired for a slight sheen. Includes attached “frog” of nails to hold flower stems. 6” diameter x 2” height. (Height can vary slightly). Each one is a little different.
